Task of the air base: "Servus Erding" -Tornado says goodbye to Manching

The TORNADO "Servus Erding" with the identification 43 + 70 was given its special paint on the occasion of the abandonment of the Erding Air Base.
After the Luftwaffe's weapon system support center 1 moved from Erding to Manching, the TORNADO "landed" on a crane for the last time on its platform in front of the new staff building of the Association's repair center 11 on December 14th.
There it stands as a symbol for the repair of the components of airborne weapon systems.
Members of the association and visitors to the site belonging to the Wehrtechnisches Dienststelle 61 are greeted with the label: "FLY-IN" when they drive in and bid farewell with "FLY-OUT" when they leave the property.
